Professional Expertise

Katherine currently serves as the Chief Clinical Officer at a clinical outpatient reentry program, where she leads strategic initiatives, clinical operations, and policy development for behavioral health programs designed to support individuals transitioning from incarceration. She is recognized as a subject matter expert in Post Incarceration Syndrome, electronic medical records (EMR) implementation, and outpatient treatment compliance.


Her consulting experience extends across various organizations where she has advised on program design, licensing, accreditation, and quality management for behavioral health facilities. Katherine’s expertise in regulatory compliance and program development has been instrumental in helping organizations establish and maintain best practices in addiction recovery and mental health services.


Certifications & Leadership

Katherine holds multiple certifications, including Licensed Independent Substance Abuse Counselor, Certified Alcohol and Drug Addiction Counselor, and Certified Criminal Justice Addiction Professional. She is also a Board-Approved Clinical Supervisor and serves as the President of the Arizona Board of Certified Addictions Counselors (ABCAC).

As a Certified Peer Support Specialist, Katherine integrates her personal recovery journey with professional expertise to support individuals facing mental health and substance use challenges. She understands firsthand the complexities of recovery and uses this insight to inform evidence-based practices, compassionate care, and innovative program design.


Advocacy & Education

Beyond her clinical and executive roles, Katherine is a passionate educator and speaker. She has presented at national and regional conferences, including the Southwestern School for Behavioral Health Studies and the National Association of Forensic Counselors, sharing her insights on outpatient reentry services, SMART Recovery, and behavioral health innovations.

Her presentations are enriched by her extensive work designing and implementing clinical programs for justice-involved populations, her expertise in electronic medical record systems, and her consulting roles in compliance, licensing, and quality management across outpatient and residential behavioral health settings.
